How long can Awami League survive without police, asked Rumin Farhana.

Rumin Farhana, a member of parliament, is speaking at the civic exchange event in Rajshahi that the BNP’s media unit arranged. At a metropolitan restaurant on a Saturday afternoon

Rumin Farhana, a BNP member of parliament, claimed that the Awami League’s future is now in serious doubt if the police administration is overthrown.
In a meeting titled “A free, fair, and impartial post-election national government and a bicameral national parliament are required for the formation of an accountable state system,” held on Saturday afternoon at a restaurant in Rajshahi Nagar, he made this statement.

According to Rumin Farhana, the Awami League has never supported democracy or human rights. The BNP’s unfortunate belief in an autocratic one-party dictatorship, similar to the Awami League, that does not uphold independence, human rights, good governance, or justice must be continually confronted. Movements under dictatorships, one-party regimes, and democratic governments are never the same.

Commenting that BNP is getting stronger from the movement, Rumin Farhana said, BNP has been in the movement for 15 years. The party lost many leaders and workers in this movement. Many leaders and activists have gone missing. Many have been subjected to extrajudicial killings and custodial torture. Starting from BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia, there are numerous cases against a ward-level workers. BNP is constantly getting stronger. The proof of this is the gathering of people called by the BNP despite so much repression. If the police administration is removed, how long Awami League will be able to survive is the big question now.

Regarding the national government, this member of parliament from the reserved seat for women said that politicians think about the next election, and statesmen think about where the country will go in the next 100 years. Deshanayak Tariq Rahman is thinking about the national government and bicameral parliament to solve the national crisis. Why is the national government necessary? The electoral structure of this country has been destroyed. It is even said by the Election Commission that voting is done during the day or at night. The election commission itself says, “The ghosts that stand in our secret rooms are the biggest challenge of the elections.” The rule of law, human rights, independence of the judiciary, and freedom of expression have been destroyed in the country. In this context, if the BNP and the alliance can form a government through a free, fair, and impartial election, then the national government will be formed with them. The allied parties will remain in the government even if they lose the election.

Rumin Farhana claimed that BNP will rebuild the state alongside everyone and noted that things like society and values have been eroded over the last ten years. Government meddling has partialized every institution of the state and every organization. In this case, the BNP does not think that a change in government will bring about major changes in society, law, and order, or the constitution. For this, the complete state needs to be fixed. To do this, all patriotic forces must come to an understanding.
Rumin Farhana stated that the totalitarian regime aims to party governmental institutions, including the bicameral Parliament.

no In comparison to a unicameral parliament, a bicameral one is far more effective at maintaining balance. A party in a unicameral legislature becomes autocratic if it wins a sizable majority in the elections. The concept of a bicameral legislature was born out of this. They will all work together to build the government of the people if BNP is elected to lead the nation. A bicameral parliament made up of wise and accomplished members of society will be established.
